Nothing like a grizzled old prospector to put things into perspective for ya.
So here it is. We're kicking off our new set of cartoons with a bit of a short one, but consider it a an appetizer for the new sketched animation style with many more to follow. Hope you guys enjoy.
p.s. If you get annoyed by the intro credits there is an invisible click through on the entire screen to click it, also you can click on the prospector in the end credits to see the original!

It was okay
Erm well if you ask me, and you dont mind me saying. I think the humour was dated and not to my taste.
The voices were annoying, both as bad as each other in their own right. I just think neither felt realistic enough, they both felt put on to someone vocal extent.
And the animation was too..well too tweened. Perhaps change the angle a couple of times to keep the watcher on their toes, and add some frame by frame so you can cope with this. Just insert a little cinematography.
Cool man, your comments are well taken and something to think about for the future.
Just to clarify (not that it matters much) there actually isn't a single tween in the whole cartoon, but the characters are actually "puppets" moved and animated on twos (in a style developed with the help of some of the animators from Metalocalypse) so I can see why it may feel that way. We do bring frame by frame stuff in on some of our skits (which you may see in the future if you wish) but for scenes that are almost all dialogue we have to do them in this manor due to our tight production schedule.
Again though, I can see where you are coming from in your comments, and they are definitely something to keep in mind in the future.

I like
Its funny because its true.
However, I really hate intro's. They're totally unnecessary for flash animations.
It's true they are often unnecessary for flash, and I debated putting it in this one, but we made it up for or TV show pilot and I was kinda proud of it so I threw it in. I tried to make it not intrude too much (click anywhere while it plays and it will go away.). Thanks for the review though, and I'm glad you enjoyed it regardless.

You cant win here!!
If you do something random you lose!! If you do something with a punchline everybody says " oh no not a gag!!" and you lose!!
Well I thought the drawing was good, voices good, and the story , although randomish, was fairly amusing.... what more could anyone want? It was entertaining...
Yeah, it does seem to be a problem when a number of people view your work, and of course you can never please everyone, but it does help to try and understand where they are coming from and to try to understand what they would like to see more of.
I am extremely happy to hear from people like yourself who DID enjoy the work though, it really is what keeps us going until the release of the next one, so thanks a ton for the review!

absolute rubbish
The intro had nothing to do with the show.
I guess i liked the animation the voice work, but nothing happened. I was waiting for the punchliine but it never came.
The show is an animated sketch comedy show, the intro shows the actors just as any sketch comedy shows intro (snl, kids in the hall, mad tv), but it is true it had nothing to do with this sketch.
This sketch is a short nonsensical lead in to the actual sketches, to catch the audience off guard, I absolutely agree that it doesn't make sense and doesn't have a punchline so that's why we tried to keep it short.
If you do like our voice acting and animation however you may want to take a moment to check out some of our other stuff as well as the work we will put out in the future. I assure you it is nothing like this, haha.
