Author Comments

When Pigs Fly is a game about teaching yourself to fly. It's not easy! Those big, feathery wings will help you take to the air, but they're also delicate. Bump into the wall and feathers will fly! You'll have to steer through this trecherous cavern if you want to see the sky again.

CONTROLS
The SPACEBAR, SHIFT or Z all work.
Use the LEFT and RIGHT arrows to steer while off the ground.
The M key mutes the game. The S key just turns off the squealing.
If you quit in the middle of the game your place will be saved! Don't worry.

Edmund McMillen really helped this game to take flight. And Tom Fulp was amazing enough to ensure it stayed there. Thanks!

I just beat this game for like the millionth time. I see there are some mixed reviews and shit but I really like this game. I'm pretty sure it was in one of Tom's posts when it first came out and I played it, and really liked it. And now, I don't know, something about the graphics, the music, the simple gameplay, whenever I play it it feels really nostalgic to me. I mean I played tons of games on NG when I was a kid but this one is really nostalgic for some reason. I keep coming back and playing it, and it just makes me feel happy

Also every time I start playing I have to finish it because that goddamn pig is so adorable and he just fell in that little hole and if I don't help him get out WHAT KIND OF PERSON AM I

Just a terrible game, people fail to realize that a difficult and challenging game can be made while still being fun. They just only focus on difficulty, like that's the thing people want, when it just really isn't the key focus. This game especially, had terrible hit boxes, the worst being the pig. It was also an unoriginal concept with no real interest. The nice thing was the game modes, however, they only helped replay the same game, rather than add something unique. I would personally say this is failed attempt at a flash game, and would recommend something that makes this game fun, and worth playing to be successful. Not just something that annoys people or makes then congratulate themselves for wasting their own times. Better luck next time I guess, no actually, luck is just stupid in games, try something different or unique. Even if you use the same style of game as is traditional, you can still add you own touch, something that makes the game great. You find that ability in yourself, and your games will reflect it, I can promise you that.

This game... Good grief, this game! Oh, that is one of the hardest flashgames I have played in a long time. That being said, I couldn't help but push onward for my own pride's sake, and I'm glad to say I did. When the game isn't utterly destroying you, it manages to be highly entertaining. Also, as a direct result of the game's difficulty, the actual feat of pulling all the way through is immensely satisfying, and on some level rewarding. I can't say I'll be playing this often, but I can see myself coming back for more every now and then.
