When Pigs Fly is a game about teaching yourself to fly. It's not easy! Those big, feathery wings will help you take to the air, but they're also delicate. Bump into the wall and feathers will fly! You'll have to steer through this trecherous cavern if you want to see the sky again.

The SPACEBAR, SHIFT or Z all work.
Use the LEFT and RIGHT arrows to steer while off the ground.
The M key mutes the game. The S key just turns off the squealing.
If you quit in the middle of the game your place will be saved! Don't worry.

Edmund McMillen really helped this game to take flight. And Tom Fulp was amazing enough to ensure it stayed there. Thanks!

After playing this game, I felt completely useless, because the levels were wayy hard. Then I thought, hey, this really makes me appreciate the other Newgrounds games. My appreciating other games, I decided to appreciate my family and friends. I decided to call my brother Jerry after 5 years. Jerry just so happened to have opened an oil company, and was looking for one more person. Now, I am a millionaire, and I could not be happier. Thank you for changing my life.

What a fantastic game. I loved the music, the atmosphere, the idea, and the challenging. My only 2 criticisms are that there is no pause function, and the pig noises are slightly annoying. I would've given this a 9, but because it's so incredibly underratted, I'm giving it a 10.

I also love the way you don't unlock the "main menu" till you finish the game. Brilliant.

Well done on a fantastic game.

this is quite possibly the hardest and most frustrating game one all of new grounds.

Give it a chance!

I thought this game was really good. You made a common idea into something really entertaining. I don't like how people quit after failing a level too many times. That's the point of a game. It's supposed to be difficult. You're supposed to try and win. I ended with 21 minutes and something seconds and 258 deaths. =) I still had a lot of fun and I'm glad I stuck it through.

Excellent, Addictive, and Retro-tastic

You can tell a lot of effort went into this game. There's not a thing out of place, every note, squeal, and carefully placed pixel adds up to a cohesive experience, which a lot of the highly-rated games on this site fail to achieve. Yes, this is a frustrating game, but anything easily accomplished isn't very fulfilling. When you get to the end of this you will definitely realize how much time you've spent on it and how much you really did enjoy yourself. And if you're a real gamer, you'll be playing it again to see if you can do it faster and better!

This is a great game. It does not rely on stupid distractions like upgrades and health bars and tweened explosions. It's just classy, classic, and FUN.

Ignore those that hate on it because they weren't handed an easy win, designer. This is a gem you can be proud of.
