NOTICE: Anyone is free to make videos of my games. Sharing video game experiences with others is really nice. It gives me some exposure while the people who make the videos get something back in return. I fully support the monetisation of any video you make containing footage from my games. As long as you don’t claim to be the creator of my games, it’s all good! Throwing my name, SeethingSwarm, as the creator into the description or into the video itself is also always appreciated.

I liked the Castle Crasher esque theme but it just seems too slow and generic. But still a worthy effort and I would like to see an improved version.

SeethingSwarm responds:

Maybe you should put the quality down to "low" from the pause menu to make it run a bit faster on your computer. Would have been nice if you could have told me what you wanted to be improved...

Fortified Plains (2nd last level) - The top chest can't be reached...sometimes? unless you bomb it

The Red Horned Guards - when they throw bombs and then walk downward -or anywhere- the bomb graphic follows in front of them.

anyhow GG niikkkkkkaa

About the 4 chests at the end of the Fortified Plains, well, the thing is, because of technical reasons, when you move up and down throughout the stage A LOT, objects start to lose their original places. That's why sometimes you can't reach that chest. It's never happened to me though, otherwise I would not have kept it their, sorry about that...

Thanks for the Ten!

Reminded me of Final Fight

I had fun with this. I like how you can choose different paths and it isn't completely linear. It reminded me of old school Final Fight or River City Ransom. Anyone remember the original Double Dragon? I like how you incorporated an aspect from that game: that you started off with basic attacks and learned more as the game progressed. Though I think it could've used more combos and more basic attacks. Maybe some grab and throw style moves?

The only dislike I really had about this game is that there isn't a whole lot of difference between the weapons other than visuals and slightly different boosts to stats. They all had the same length and you pretty much fought the same way with each one. It would have been nice if you threw in some variety with the weapons... change their lengths at least and make noticeable differences in strength and attack speed. Like the bo staff could be twice as long but not deal as much damage. Or whatnot. And stuff.

I think the different characters should also have fought differently rather than just being different skins of the same thing. Like the swamp creature... what about being able to use the attacks they use against you? That was something I always like about being able to unlock enemies in more 'traditional' video games.

The leveling system could have been more involved to. I feel the game wouldn't be missing much if it was taken out.

And who doesn't like ninjas?!

This review became a mind dump. Enjoy.

Thanks for the long mind-dump review! :)
I would have loved to add more stuff to this game, but the ugly truth is I simply did not have the time. The unlockable characters (skins) were a bonus and I didn't even plan on making that possible, but I wanted to cram as much into the game as I could. Making every weapon different lengths as well as giving you different attack moves with each one and giving you different attack moves with every unlocked character would have required months and months of more work and time which I simply didn't have, so sorry about that...

Glad you like the game :)
