Yoko is a little platform game in the style of Mario. Run and jump through the levels, collect power ups and try to stay alive.

Actually, I wrote this game a while ago for a contest by meez, but didn't win. Now I removed the meez stuff and added my own character instead.

Keys: Left / Right to walk, Space to jump

this was incredibly well scripted! you must be an actionscript genius!
i havent looked at your profile yet but im guessing you've been scripting for a long time and if you're not already in the video game industry then you're well on your way to it.

the gameplay was great, i loved the fact that if you jumped and moved you could jump higher with each jump to a certain point. that must have taken a lot of code.
it made the simple sidescroller ten times better, along with all the hidden boxes and whatnot.

however, as someone already mentioned belo0w me, it could have used some music. with a catchy tune it would have been quite goddamn addicting, and with original, well designed characters, it might even be eligible for a spot in the top fifty. hope to see you there in the near future!
