A cinematic point and click thriller.

Derived from latin "The pit/abyss" Vorago takes place in a small town off the interstate stumbled upon by a couple under most unfortunate circumstances. After the tragic loss of their daughter, Ira and Jonathan find themselves in a car accident with no direction. When the couple reach the nearest town, a loud warning siren sounds off as a mysterious fog covers the atmosphere.

Yes I love Stephen King's "the Mist". A lot of inspiration from that movie came about the development of the game. And the background artist inspired by "silent hill". So please try to enjoy the game. The bible is a reference to tell this story, and by no means to pose a "hidden" message or threat to the individual player.

Use Mouse to view certain portions of the area. The mouse icon will change in finding a clue, item, or object. Use Space bar to open inventory to use and combine items.

Update: Thank you so much newgrounds for all the great comments and Tom & Wade for front page! I have read most of them and I really appreciate your point of views and open minded attitude to the concept! Thank you again!

Omg it was amazing

I started playing and i saw it was about the book of revelations
i got really excited
It took me a while to figure things out but i got really into it like Really
almost reminded me of The Mist
the young child
the crazy religous person
etc. etc.
it even had the whole scientific experiment thing was in there
i like how you actually quoted the Book of Revelation
and the artwork was great and the voice acting really got you into the story
i think this is the first escape game that the story really got to me
i saw you should make a sequel but like the smog and creatures have spread and u play seperate stories
it would me great
i give this a 10/10
your work is great

i really loved the artistic style, everything looked incredible. the music and sounds were great, the voices were alright. the cop often began talking before you finished talking, that's my only complaint about sound. the non-point-n-click parts were hard to get the hang of but easy after a few tries. this really reminded me of the silent hill games. the unclean look you gave everything, the fog the siren right before the monsters came out, the entire atmosphere was very silent hill-like. although some parts weren't very obvious, the walkthrough was good. i would have liked it if you allowed tab cheating, since the walkthrough told you exactly what to do anyway. i liked the story, too. it flowed very well and never felt strained. great job, can't wait for more :)

I'm sorry but I laughed the entire way through this game. I could find no sympathy for anyone, not with the crudely drawn graphics making everyone look like a Halloween mask. I stopped caring when God was mentioned, and the plot-twists were so predictable and yet retarded in the same sense. The only saving grace of this game was the playing mechanics but....well, its hard to screw up a point-and-click formula.
