I know this is pretty bad, it's my first try at a tutorial!

not too bad

its very rough- not a good choice of font, scruffy, spelling mistakes. You know this.
'Letting right click work' sounds silly as if it were a special effort and decision on your part rather than, couldn't be bothered to insert the proper buttons.
It would have come across better if you just pointed out
"You can... with the right click"
However, its not the same old button making tutorial and although it doesn't make me quite want to make such a game, it did at least show me that it isn't that difficult to make one.
If you care to check out my art inspiration tutorial, it will show you some ideas that may help you in presentation of something like this: /371928
If you are serious about improving your flash, either read other tuturials in the forums, or contact me.
Not bad for a first attempt- well done in getting through judgement.

good idea, bad execution.

It's a decent idea, but the font you used and the art style made this unviewable/unreadable. Try upping your art and using a font that isn't awful, then come back and reupload.

this tutorial should be on a website not on newgrounds in flash. It is a good try though the animations are not bad

Your content is good, but it's poorly organized. You even seemed to get bored at the end and dumped five or six bite-sized steps into one almost unreadable frame. The "next" button was good, but where was the "back" or "rewind" buttons so we could review or find something we missed?

Tutorials are for people who don't know how to do what you're explaining. Take your time and go into detail in small steps... and use a font like Ariel or Helvetica that's easy to read. Seriously, that Old English font? Save it for your heavy metal flashes.
