* NOTE THAT THE LABYRINTH IS RANDOMLY GENERATED, AND DIFFERENT EACH TIME YOU PLAY! DON'T BOTHER TRYING TO MAP IT! *

Please read the instructions at startup - they aren't long, and you won't understand the game if you don't read them. The Wall of Doom approaches from the left; the exit is far (!!!) to the right. Look at the meter at the bottom to gauge your distance from the wall, and the distance remaining to the exit.

You have only one stat - your energy. It is both your health, and your ability to fight, swim and leap over pits. Try not to run out! Use potions to restore it.

Bombs are amazingly useful - you can destroy walls and monsters with them. Use them wisely.

There are four types of monsters. The tougher ones appear more frequently the closer you get to the exit.

GOBLINS are the most accurate in their attacks, but are otherwise very weak. They do one damage, take one hit to kill, and can't cross water.

DASHERS are like goblins, only less accurate, but they move (and attack) TWICE for every move you take! They are a serious early game nuisance.

FISHMEN do two points of damage (until injured), take two hits to kill, and can cross water.

EYEBALL BEASTS are very dangerous. They take three hits to kill, and do three points of damage at first.

Good, I guess

Move a bit slow, which gets pretty annoying. O.k. overall.

Pretty good!!!

This game needed strategy, but still the easiest level was way too hard to be easy!!!

Xopods responds:

There's plenty of strategy. See my blog for some tips.

I've beaten it up to difficulty level 5 myself, but it requires many attempts to do so. Level 1 should be easy once you understand how the game works. The highest levels, e.g. 8-10, are not really intended to be beaten, they're more for trying to get a good score - your points are multiplied by the difficulty level you play on.
