This is probably my best game to date. I wanted to make something more accessible, as most of my flash games have been too complicated for my family to play. :3
I really hope you guys enjoy it, I think it's the most effort I've put in to anything. A big thanks to everyone who helped me test, and Tom and NG for the sponsorship!

EDIT: The game has version detection, but YOU NEED FLASH 10 to play it. If you have trouble loading the game, please send me a PM with the details.
EDIT: Because nearly everyone is saying they can't figure out the boss's pattern, I've made a slight change that should make it more obvious. Once the game update is approved I'll let you guys know and you can try again with the new pattern. *Alright it's up now*
********** FOR ANYONE WITH LOADING PROBLEMS**********
If you're getting a black screen after the Newgrounds and Particlasm screens this applies to you. This might also help with the loading bar freezing. This was posted by a Kongregate user (thanks Knork):
"If the game does not load past the ads make sure that ngads.com and ads.newgrounds.com are not being blocked in your hosts file. Which is located under C:\WINDOWS\system32\drive rs\etc
If they are, uncheck the "Read-only" attribute and edit out those two lines."

WOW!
The movement of the fox is AWESOME! It is nearly perfect XD. If you make another game, make sure you do the same thing...whatever you did!

Outstanding
Nothing I hated about this, this was just awesome. I liked how you didn't really have to worry about getting hurt and you could just breeze through the game relaxed. Nothing that would be annoying or stressful and everything seemed to click together well. Yep, this was a very relaxing game. Maybe not so much at the end because you actually had to move around and time your jumps but that was still very fun. The wings were a nice touch, didn't really affect gameplay but were fun to have. Its awesome to have stuff like that. But is it even possible to get all the darklings? Anyways, good game and you can't go wrong with mushrooms.
It's possible to get them all, but you need to plan for it a bit.

very um... fun
i don't feel like fun is the right word to describe this game, it's interesting, or enchanting, or alluring or something but i guess it's also just fun
anyways yeah the gameplay is really good, i'm the kind of person that likes to just explore levels and make sure i don't miss anything so i like that the game is based around just going everywhere and trying everything
but the best part is definitely just the experience of it, it felt so adventury and other-worldly, it was like i wanted to turn the sound up really loud and just kindof be the fox
so yeah i don't really have any complaints, except that i was disappointed when it ended, i mean it was long enough and everything but i still felt like it ended abruptly, i feel like you should have an afterwards part where you maybe get some extra thing and you can just collect the rest of the mushrooms and stuff, i also wish i could've killed all the darklings, I know i could've but i don't plan far enough ahead, I think after it ends you should gain the ability to like collect the maximum amount of fairies and like press down to use them all and get a short burst of light so that you can kill the rest of the darklings
so yeah really fun game, I don't see why people are complaining about the boss, he's really easy he just goes up and down, of course i had to stop playing and just watch him to figure that out
also that's funny that Mastercin looked for a place to turn off the rain, that's what i thought it was too but then i looked at the menu
