Hey guys, I’ve started work on a possible William and Sly 3. Follow me on facebook for updates!

This is probably my best game to date. I wanted to make something more accessible, as most of my flash games have been too complicated for my family to play. :3

I really hope you guys enjoy it, I think it's the most effort I've put in to anything. A big thanks to everyone who helped me test, and Tom and NG for the sponsorship!

As always, leave a comment! I love reading them.

EDIT: The game has version detection, but YOU NEED FLASH 10 to play it. If you have trouble loading the game, please send me a PM with the details.

EDIT: Because nearly everyone is saying they can't figure out the boss's pattern, I've made a slight change that should make it more obvious. Once the game update is approved I'll let you guys know and you can try again with the new pattern. *Alright it's up now*

If you're getting a black screen after the Newgrounds and Particlasm screens this applies to you. This might also help with the loading bar freezing. This was posted by a Kongregate user (thanks Knork):

"If the game does not load past the ads make sure that and are not being blocked in your hosts file. Which is located under C:\WINDOWS\system32\drive rs\etc
If they are, uncheck the "Read-only" attribute and edit out those two lines."

If this works for you let me know.

The graphics and animation was smooth and excellent looking. The controls were great and easy getting used to. The gameplay was fun, but maybe boring if you only go for the runestones. It's also about unlocking and discovering the other places in the game, such as the bridges(it is a little pointless collecting the mushrooms). So I'd like to comment all those people who say it's boring and needs more action and excitement:
Who ever told you this was an action game? I can't see how you think this is surposed to be exciting. If you want an action packed sidescroller, then go make one yourself insteed of saying that this game needs something the creator didn't want it to have.
The game isn't just about collecting fairyflies and activating runestones. Have you ever played Assassin's Creed? You don't rush it and get those 3 clues and then go assassinate your target without even looking at all the other options you have in the city.

But overall I think it was a good and little missunderstood game.
And I still don't get the "Fork" sign

i enjoyed this game, it was quick, but not too quick, tricky but not too tricky. i always enjoy a good sidescroller. Nintendo kid by heart!

Very Pretty

While the gameplay is quite simplistic, that doesn't make it a bad game, and the art work more than makes up for it! Great stuff!

I tip my hat to you sir.

The art was fantastic. They were almost flawless. The controls were simple and fun. The only thing I did not like about them were with the wings. You could only "fly" in one direction. Turning around in mid-flight you would lose your wings and drop. Gameplay was simple yet addictive. This was also a short game. It didn't waste my time and enjoyed many moments in it. The music was beautiful. Like thge game, it was simple yet effective. It complimented the entire game. This goes to prove that complicated ideas do not mean they are good ones. Simplicity at is best. There were even challenging secrets to find in the midst of all simplicity! The only thing I could really complain about was how redundant finding runes were. I understand how they were the main goal but I feel like you could have done something a bit more interesting than just finding all 13 runes. Perhaps shorten the rune count or add a timer to a few of them? But that is only a suggestion. As stated before, great and simple over all. I tip my hat to you sir. 2D games need a comeback.
