A very well done Madness animation
While Krinkels' Madness series may not be over by any lengths, your plot-twisting idea as executed here is probably the best way to reboot the series in general. In other words, THIS animation, in my opinion, would be the way that Krinkels' original story arc should end, and simultaneously begin anew. It just fits. So well.
The animation was very good and added a few new tricks as well to show your own creative method to your madness. Its always nice to hear more cheshyre and it did wonders in keeping your work within familiar territory while you introduced your style. The action, while very much madness in nature, was also a bit off, like something just wasn't right.. and it worked wonderfully.
Unlike most other madness tributes, or madness inspired animations, yours left me with a very good feeling. The feeling that comes from having experienced an animator who cares for the subject matter and intends on doing it justice. Krinkels should be proud.
very nice words. thanks..
Another masterpiece by Erixs
I've always enjoyed your Madness movies among other fan movies. You put this touch that makes them stand out, I don't know quite how to explain it, but somehow yours are different, better.. Anyway very nice. The story was a pretty nice idea, and I loved how you added as much blood as possible. My only complaint would be that the law of gravity isn't really stressed as much is it probably should be, but it didn't take away from the enjoyment.
You should make something for Madness Day.
WOW! Unexpected home run!
I never EVER thought I would say this, but I actually -like- a Madness flash that isn't Krinkles'! Infact, I LOVE this! Normally I grunt and shake my head when a fan flash lights up green or blue, cause they typically aren't even worth watching. You, sir, wield the power to revolutionize that train of thought!
The plot twist at the end kind of pissed me off, because I loved the camaraderie you had going between those two characters, but I suppose that's part of your intended experience, so don't consider it a complaint. But do consider it a suggestion!
Seriously, you nailed everything that makes Madness 'Madness', which I have NEVER seen another fan flash of this series do. It's usually a bunch of corny posery crap that's unbefitting or even betrays the personality of Madness. They're either trying to learn flash, get popularity by using a well known series as a 'notice me!' tool, or just puking all kinds of unneeded and inappropriate elements into their 'version' of Madness. So, in other words, you rock.
On the subject of personality, this movie is PACKED with it. The use of the weapons and combat is not only reminiscent of Madness back in it's prime, but it also takes the cleverness and sense of satisfaction even further. You managed to -enhance- part of a classic official Madness entry. That is shocking to me.
Even more shocking is that I had, frankly, gotten bored with Madness, but found myself astonished that, while watching this, I was grinning and audibly going "wa-haaa, NICE. oh shit!" now and then. Rare from me these days, ESPECIALLY considering this is a fan flash. I had low expectations.
Oh yeah, to everyone who wrote reviews saying that this played a bit slow, I had that problem too. Just click the Q in the lower right hand corner of the movie! It sped things up for me and made the experience instantly fluid, dare I say glorious.
Seriously, best fan Madness I've seen by leaps and bounds. I'd even say I easily prefer it to Krinkles' latest chapter. It's certainly a better plot idea, in my opinion. I'm gonna be watching you from this point forward!
thanks man.. long and detailed review.. i like it :)
the movie is perfect the only problem is that is a litle slow but is perfect
