This was the original version of "downtown today at the cafe bolet". This animation won three superior ratings at the Maryland state festival and went on to the international festival after i revised it. enjoy...
do you really have to respond to every review?!
Don't get me wrong, this was good, but the animation was a bit sketchy and a tad unprofessional.
But I'm going to assume that you're young, so this is expected naturally.
Though I suggest getting a better audio set... The one you're using now fumbles and screws up the voice, and is a bit hard to understand at many points.
Though that's not your fault, so I'm not going to take off any points.
You can do better than this, I know. ;D But probably because it was so long was the reason why it wasn't so professionally done. But then again, you can't really professionalize anything on Newgrounds.
But I hope to see more work. :D
i actually will be uploading an updated version of this with better animation and drawings. and i also fixed the sound problem so yeh, look me up soon and i shall have the redone version up.
at first i thought you didn't write the screenplay, then after searching for it on google i realised you had, quite to my surprise. what an excellent piece of work, this is what i was talking about in my last review. a suave, interesting dramatic piece executed near-impeccably; ironically enough, the drawing here is what let the piece down. you told it simply, you told it well, and it brings back some good memories. bravo!
indeed the art in this one sux. note taht this is the original version. i shall upload the new redrawn version in the near future.
awesome bobsy. (wow you even have reviews from people you don't know... thats just straight up wicked). it made a lot more sense this time. it was really hard to hear at coffee house. but you only get a nine cuz the french guy scares me. :P
as he should
shows how a story can be taken 2 ways
