Amusing Animation

As for the stand up, I'll be frank, I didn't find it very funny. But you're not the comedian, so I'll leave it at that.

You did a good job bringing the stand up to life. It didn't need spectacular animation to be funny, and you supplied more of than I thought it would have. I'd pay to have my comedy (me pretending I'm a comedian here) put into that form, so I'd say they made a good decision to have you do it. I'll probably continue to watch these even I don't find them terribly funny just because they are well done.

Pretty good!

Please don't flame me...

I enjoyed this. The animation was really well done, and I liked the little touches like the mom's mascara running and the censor blur on the virus goblin's garbage. The look on the girlfriend's face when the dad comes in was priceless.

But... the comedy routine itself I thought was a little predictable. Pretty much everyone on this site will have a 'ZOMG MY PAERNTS DONT KNO COMPS LOLOLOL MY DAD FPR0TED HIS TARBALL' story, and apart from the 'I've got a hose!' and 'steal your daughter' bits it didn't raise anything beyond a knowing smile from me. Sorry Mike. I'll go check out some of your other stuff but this particular bit didn't do it for me. I think it would be a great opener for your show, though.

Again, please don't flame me for not just throwing a ten at this. I'm not going to lie.

I'm not going to flame you, it's not an issue if you genuinely didn't enjoy it. I'm just glad you didn't get hung up on something stupid like complaining about the crosses or accusing us of stealing.

I'm biased because it's my audio...

but i think niraj and chris did an amazing job. i was laughing at visual jokes they pulled off that i never would have thought of. i think that's kind of the best case scenario. i was actually thinking about playing this piece as a preshow on my tour this fall. i think it could look amazing on the big screen. thanks everyone for the nice comments.

and to the critics- thanks for wasting moments of your life.

This is really good

There are a lot of surprising little things in the animation that are perfectly dead-on as far as keeping the viewer interested in watching the film as something more than just, "this is a picture of what this guy is saying", just the little details that you'd only get if you were watching the cartoon, and they're hilarious little things. I think it's perfectly formulated, or perfectly executed, comedic cartooning. If you did something like this for a bunch of your stand up tracks, it would probably take a hell of a long time, but it would make a great couple of hours on "Adult Swim" or Comedy Central.
