Hey guys! I've gotten a little bit better with flash, so I decided to combine my recently gained knowledge with my love of Metallica. This will be 15 questions when all is said and done. Hope you enjoy!
EDIT: I just realized some questions are numbered wrong. Shit.
EDIT 2: Thanks for your comments! I know the answering is totally fucked, like the buttons and the restarting. The next demo won't be plagued by the Lazy Virus. I'm also going to up the question amount from 15 to 25 in the final version.
but you should make the buttons so you don't have to click precisely on the text.

You have to click exactly on the letter to make the buttons work, which is really annoying
I liked it, it was quite interesting and the music in the background gave me something to listen to instead of more shitty flash loops >_> One thing you could do though is make the links buttons instead of just text as it was very obnoxious having to click exactly on the text. Or maybe I'm just lazy :P Also, restarting from the beginning every time I messed up a question was monotonous. Other than that, it was good!
i liked it but well what the heck ive barly even heard of this band so i just guessed.
her's a tip for your future quizes.
when you got the multiple choice questions and ya have to click on the wrighting. well it's kinda hard to coz there just little lines. maybe put a box or somethin behind it so it's easier to click on.
but any way. good as animation.
Ok the quiz itself is less then average. Look up some high scoring quizes on Newgrounds and see what makes them so good. The backgrounds and weird text colours made it a bit hard to read at times, but what I really wanted to stress in this review is your buttons.
You turned text directly into a button, so it only works if you're on the text. Add a square behind the text (the square can be invisible if you like) so that you don't need to hover your mouse directly over the text. This alone will help tremendously.

They aren't buttons your using words which is a little difficult. Cursing the gamer *sigh*, but the song choice is nice but there is no source. Also if you had moar than one song.
This has promise and I gave you a little higher score than I normally would because you used Enter Sandman. I've been a huge Metallica fiend for about 20 years now and even I had trouble with some of the technical questions (foot peddles and fretting style). Good balance between the tough questions and the easier ones. The questions were at times hard to read against the backgrounds. One way to solve this is to place a layer of medium Grey over the BG picture and give it a 30-50% opacity (alpha). The previous posters are right about the buttons. Just go into the button itself (double-click) and put a box around the text in the HIT state frame. There are a few tutorials out there that help you set up a checkpoint system so the player doesn't have to go back to the beginning if they miss a question. It depresses me a little to realize that I've been listening to the Black Album for more years than some of the people who will be taking this quiz have been alive.

It looks like you really know MetallicA and as a huge fan of this AMAZING band I want to say: Good job and next time make it longer and harder, I answered all the questions on my first time (oh and you can see metallica's poster as my profile picture so if you want you can go and check).
Metallica is definatly one of my top 3 bands of all time, so naturally i would try this. Some questions were obscure (which is good for the real fans) and others easy. I do have to deduct a point for forcing the player to click the actual type of the answer and not creating a button and for not looping the music. Otherwise it was pretty sick.
