"The Best Years of my Life" is a game for two players, seated at one keyboard. Made in 48 hours for Mini LD #10.
Playing alone isn't recommended; the game won't make much sense if you do.

"Like the story behind it"
I love the feeling that seems to have gone into this. The music and graphics were average, but I really two little things that I saw. Some of the later levels, were one character is up higher and the other is positioned to look like its watching TV, and the another one where one comes in through the door and put his coat rack, while the other is downstairs at the dinner table. Am I the only one to notice that the characters change, I tried to figure what set which character at which position, probably whichever dies less or collects more of the little squares. the gradual control shift is also really nice. The game itself isn't particularly amazing, but the story behind it is quite well executed.
"I GET IT!"
ITS ABOUT A HUSBAND AND WIFE CLEANING THERE HOUSE BEFORE GUESTS COME!! I GOT IT I GOT IT I GOT IT!!
"very cool game..."
...though it's only really worth playing through once. the point, i'm assuming, is that after a while, the wife completely controls the man's actions by berating him and constantly threatening to leave, making him do any and every arbitrary thing she commands when once they worked together in everything.
'tis sad. i hope it never happens to me.
...but yeah, i really enjoyed this. minimalist style with a whole lot of substance. hooray.
"Hmm"
It was alright. The music was good and so where the levels. you could have put a few more levels in and I realy didnt understand the storyline. I liked the last level where the the only way to get all the dots it so kill off the guy. Also It needs lives or something like that.
"Tip my hat..."
Quite brilliant what you did there ;)
Shame this didn't receive any medals/front page, but then again, you didn't use any mario or sonic sprites...
