The world is being invaded by blood-thirsty zombies. In a brave attempt to save your village you're fighting back to keep the undead behind the barricades. There's no escape, fight back or become one of them!

Defend your village in 30 levels from the invading zombies.

Use the [1 .. 6] numeric keys to select a weapon. Use the P key to pause and show the menu. Mouse-click to use the selected weapon.

Tips:
- Use the [1 .. 6] hotkeys to quickly change between weapons.
- Build barricades before hiring survivors.
- Kill multiple zombies at once with the vertical melee weapons (axe, light-saber), handy when they crowd before the barricades!
- Range weapons are best used against small zombies, large zombies can be easily killed by melee weapons.
- Use the laser gun only in critical conditions.
- The maximum barricade (wire barricade) is vital for surviving in later levels.

Update v1.4:

- All weapons' ammo increased.
- All weapons' damage increased.
- All weapons' price decreased.
- Better quality of image and sound.

Thanks NG for frontpage and thank you everyone for playing this game.

It's pretty fun

But am I the only person who finds it odd that a vertical melee attack can hit multiple enemies rather than a horizontal attack?

good

fun and creepy the only thing i can say is that i would have liked it if the zombies were weaker and there were more of them instead of not as many strong zombies but other then that great game

Good Game. Couldve been scarier!

I wish there was more of a story line to it.

and i wish the weapons were better. This game got stupid hard once I got into the 2nd map.

good game all around tho.

Pretty damn wonky

My biggest issue is with the difficult-to-find hitboxes and the seeming useless ness of weapons when zombies start to pile up.
Through about 2/3 of Map 1, I was carving zombies up with the Knife/Katana. I experimented with a few guns and the Sickle, but they didn't seem to be as effeective as the rapid-action blades.
Hireling survivors seem to have no aim at all, and only fire in a fixed path.
Barricades are almost detrimental to my playstyle. The weapons available to me only hit one target at a time and when they all pile on the barrier, the heads become impossible to find.
I give you props for the Art direction, though. At least for the first few levels, the atmosphere and enemies were genuinely creepy. After about level 5, though, the number of zombie sprites seem to bottom out, and I can see the individual frames of motion on them, and it breaks flow somewhat. The 1-2-3-2-1, etc. walk pattern always jars me right out of the immersion.
The difficulty was agreeable, though most of it came in the form of fake difficulty with me not knowing where the hitbox was for the Blades.
I was dissapointed in the recyled SFX and music. I've heard these moaning sounds in other, smoother games such as Last Stand.
I also wasn't too fond of the Manga-ripped cutscene. It felt stolen, shoehorned into the game, almost. Some sound effects and original voice acting would've been good there, even screams or faux-japanese, even.

Overall, my biggest complaint is with the lack of punch or visible effect the weapons had, and the repetitive nature of the gameplay up to the point where I got bored.
