Finally, the direct sequel to my Anime Character Generator! Most of the program should be easy to figure out.
Use the Pink/Blue buttons by the email address to change gender.
Red circle button = reset item and color.
Dice button = random. Use random to achieve colors not available by the palettes.
Beware the mass-random options, especially if it randomizes colors. Rarely will you get good results!
What is R2? It's a more controlled random. It won't pick touch most armors and is overall significantly less likely to make your character look like they exploded.
I really wanted to implement the ability to save characters, but I am using an old version of Flash with 1.0 Actionscript. If you know how to do it, I would certainly be obliged. Until then, you can just use the Print Screen function on your keyboard, and then paste the image into an image program such as Paint.
People have requested music. To me, this is really more of a tool than a game, and I wanted to keep size down. Besides, I'd rather listen to my own music, wouldn't you?
I've tried replacing palettes with color sliders, but I fail. I'll give it another go next time though! @_@
Sorry, still no nudity! (You could just paint over it, easily)
You may use the results for free projects, but if it makes money then no, you may not. I would also appreciate credit, whether by email or by website.
You may download an offline version by visiting http://anond.auriplane.ne t/CharGen/
So what is the purpose of this program? For most people it is probably a quick 5-minute forgettable game. Some will use it to make their own characters, which is what I am hoping for. For me, it is an information tool. I want people to make characters and show me what they like. It also allows someone to show me what they want when they request a character. It is also a useful tool for me to generate random townspeople for the RPG I was working on.
Made a character? I'd love to see it!
=============
2.2 fixes and changes quite a few things. Many colors were changed, background changed (for easier cropping), 30 some-odd hairstyles for both genders (though to use them, visit Kongregate), some new items here and there, and some model changes.

I love it! I've been trying to find an anime character creator for a long time until I saw this! It's really awesome! I love the extras, I mean, the weapons, the armor, clothes etc. :D
By the way, can I use the character I made for a fan fiction? :)

I think it´s awesome because most of the people here use manga pics for their profile ^^
and this is the easiest way to create your own avatar.
