I was listening to this song and for some reason this story started appearing in the old noggin. I initially was going to animate this when I finished some other projects, but then I found out for a final exam in one of my courses I could do a video. So I decided this would be the perfect thing to force me to complete this animation. It's been a while since I've done any animating but this project rekindled my passion for it. I did this project over the course of a month and I feel it turned out pretty well. I hope you enjoy this personal interpretation of the lyrics.

All I ever wanted when I was animating this was to make it like the murderer was Pepe le Peu from Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show. I wanted him to effortlessly and ecstatically stalk and attack his victim. I feel I completed this task. The song is very dark in it's theme, but very upbeat in it's sound, so I tried to animate accordingly. For those of you that think this dark...well it is. But honestly Pepe le Peu, the cartoon skunk, was essentially a glorified rapist.
Enjoy!

Not Perfect But Very Good

It could have been animated better but i still like the animation style you used. Plus, i LOVE that song and i listen to it all the time so i really liked the movie its self better than the animating. So with that, i give a very good eight out of ten.

If only the guy looked more like John Simm...

I kid, although that IS where I first heard the song, which has become a personal favorite of mine. Loved watching this, and the ending was well played. Congrats on a job well done.

Loved it mate.

The song choice, obviously, is great. I love that song, even before it was featured on Doctor Who. The animation wasn't really that good, but since I've never done animation before, I can't say it was bad. I agree with the mass populous that the victim was unemotional, but who cares?! The gun loading bit was very good.
