This was my first flash animation ever. :) Thanks to everyone for their support and criticisms. Only with suggestions can I grow in my work.
This is the tale of how Kitala the Pirate came to be Kitala...the Pirate--more or less anyway. ;D
I intend on making a series of these (forevermore being known as KTP[#]). So check in!

The song is "Salty Dog" by Celtic Tribute Players. It's a beautiful song inspired by Flogging Molly's "Salty Dog." Yay piracy!

**Great First Movie**

I think the cartoon is great the way it is, but the intro screen needs a start button or something. At first glance with the lack of sound and animation for the title screen I feared the worst, but it turned out to be a cute and well done little flash. Bravo! Hope to see more.

Kitala responds:

Yeah it was hard enough to figure out how to use the preloader with Toon Boom. It's not flash so there are slightly less tutorials...and by slightly less i mean close to none. :P But I'll keep that in mind! thanks =)

Haha, pretty good job! Really good animation and the music isint THAT messed up,

You did a really good job here :)

Kitala responds:

Thanks a bunch! Yeah it's just the intro...I'm still not sure why it's not working. I'll figure it out eventually.

Minor Skips in the song, animation is quite fluid, for someone who hasnt used flash, etc.

Like to see more, actually.

Kitala responds:

Thanks! :) I didn't want my first animation to be sloppy and crappy.
Check back in a few weeks. I'm finishing up two other non-related flashes!

Good job

Not bad for your first time. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the series and your personal progression :)

Kitala responds:

Oh hey thanks! I can't wait to see it myself haha
