The game ran so smooth, and it wasn't too casual, adding skill to it too, and intensity.
That's something flash games don't deliver that often anymore, thanks for doing so, however.
You asked for improvements? I would disagree with adding some bosses in the game, I like the game simple. But someone did mention other enemy types, that might work well. Something like, fast moving non-homing ones bouncing around the screen? Oh, and power-ups. Everyone loves power-ups. Can't quickly think a good power-up for the game, destroying enemies would be silly. Perhaps something that freezes them in place?
The game itself was good, and I enjoy playing it. I'm a fan of simple small games that require some amount of skill. Nice work!

where are the upgrades? Diversity of enemies? Or even a point? Good effects, solid drawing, but this isn't the best way to use those skills. This is just boring and uncreative. It reminds me of generic cereal.
I published this game yesterday to see if people where a bit interested. I see kinda some people would like to see the game with some further (major) updates. I have posted them on my author comments above ^, which i am going to work on ASAP.

I've played and I liked it very much, it was fun and addicting.
It had a great concept, a decent soundtrack and was nicely put together (rocket effects and such).
Overall you made a nice game, but try to go deeper in it with upgrades for your ship and such, different sound tracks to choose from would also be nice.
