-Small update added (2010-01-21), adding a few bug fixes and gameplay tweaks. For instance, you can now drop enemies that you have picked up by pressing the down key.
-If you fall through the level and die after clearing a stage, you could try lowering the quality and/or turning off the camera effects in the options menu.
-It appears we should point out that ALL THE BOSSES ARE IN FACT BEATABLE. Each has a certain pattern that needs to discovered, that's all. If it doesn't always make perfect sense, sue us :)
-Finishing all 19 levels unlocks the Barbarian Stronghold survival level, where you must hold off the hordes for as long as you can.
-Again, thanks for the great reviews, frontpage and collection!

A young barbarian sets out on a quest to find the legendary Secret of Steel...

This sequel took nearly a year(!) to finish and contains more enemies, 19 levels, boss fights, complex combat and physics engines, geographical puzzle solving, an epic musical score and an intriguing storyline.

To all the fans who supported this game, big thanks! We really got a kick out of the reception the demo got. And many thanks to hzlancer for his masterpiece of a soundtrack.

Its fun. There could be a lot more though.

It got boring after about 2 or 3 levels of the same thing.

Could really really really use some sort of upgrade/gold/new weapon system.

Heck checking to see if i got another weapon was the whole reason i kept going

good game

some things to mebbe fix:
-jump up instead of up and slightly forward
-make grab less sensitive. i kept grabbing by accident and getting stuck with an enemy in my hand unable to move.
-this only happened once, but i tried to use my special on a dude and instead of killing him, i started gliding past him and went all the way to the edge of the screen. i couldn't cancel the special so i just got stuck there.

how do you kill the duke?.... anytime i get close enough to slash him he just kicks me away.....

awsome game some suggestions:
-weapon uprgrades
-more barels (poisonous, and other kinds)
-more attacks maybe

but, like this, the game is near perfect
last boss- pretty hard

PS: the whole game is beatable, it took me a while but i did it

to beat princess, get near her, and when she swing axe down to smash, you dodge, she stops for a couple of seconds, and thats when you land the hits

Amazing brawler. Wicked awesome moves, unique control scheme (one attack button) that works very well. Lots of fun enemies to destroy. Tough bosses. This game almost never gets boring.

One thing I would have liked would have been gold and an upgrade system. Oh well. Maybe in the next one? Pretty please?

I can also testify that the bosses are in fact beatable. Some just take a few tries to get the hang of how to kill them.

I also would have liked some bonus levels/modes. Zombie mode, survival, hold the line, kill X enemies in X minutes, don't let the crows eat the bodies, stuff like that.

Amazing game. This one's going in my favorites.
