Well, I'm not gonna lie, I am not exactly PROUD of this, yet still, it's the first (non vomitive) movie I have ever completed. Did this in around 9 days, so please try to watch this with your expectations... not really all to high, because you'll be dissapointed, yet still, I did my best to see this turn out good, and I really wanted to make a submission to the wonderful page that is Newgrounds. Thanks a HELL LOT to you for watching, I really apretiatte it, I read and respond all reviews, so if you can make me a favor and tell me ANYTHING I could improve on, just tell me, I'd be really thankful. Now, the movie is short, I would've loved to make it longer, but I ended up having to cut the music in half and just finish it here, I just had to finish this quickly so that I can get rolled with my Power of Three team!

Aaaaaaaand... here's some dull stadistics:

- 1644 frames
- NO tweens at all.
- 24 Frames per second
- A minute and eight seconds long
- Music by blackattackbitch (http://blackattackbitch.
- A lot of love.
- Love for you too.

Thanks, enjoy!

I have to say, you do have a good animation style here, and here is why I think this way:

-Everything is smooth, it looks completely natural.

-I see no teleporting or chopping anywhere, and when the subjects are in motion it looks realistic.

-The eye, as where can be improved, looks detailed in my opinion and Well drawn.

This conflicts with the draft-like person you have flying around and confuses me, if I were to do this submission, I would draw a person without a face, but they would still have good body structure without any lines on the face and circles for knees, etc...

Anyway, your music was pretty good for the animation, I have no complaints on it other than I don't like it, but I never let that influence my critique.

As where I can see you may have tried really hard on this flash, there are still problems like:

-I don't understand, it looks like an interpretive dance.

-Sense I can't understand it, the probability of me seeing a plot in this is extremely low, and what keeps me interested in most things is the plot. I want a meaning behind this, what it has now reminds me more of a test than anything else.

-No where can I find a voice, which is ok, but I pay more attention when things are vocalizing or thought can be heard from a character.

-When you show credits, I would like a replay option, sadly, very few people care about credits, other than that, you have well done credits (well the letters need work but it isn't really an issue).

-Have a scene select, even though it's short, it can be easier to review with this feature.

-The paper background isn't that great, even though it's different from blank, I would prefer blank over paper.

-A few times, you have pieces of the body touching a hole of the paper, but lines go through the hole. That's unrealistic.

Well, here's your review. Thank you for having a preloader.

Zyphonee responds:

You're right on all of these aspects, although I never really planned it to actually be a real movie, but a FBF test with an old background, that I just put there to make it more appealing, but really nothing else here. To be honest, I didn't really work so hard on this, it was more of a little show off so that when I work on a collab, game, or something like that, people don't have to ask me via PM for an example, since this is pretty much a focus on the overall animation that I could do when working on a collaborative effort, just that I know I could do a bit better with more time, since I'd work more on the art, inbetweening and overall human escence in the movement. I aprettiate this review, and the things you pointed out will (or at least tried to) be fixed in future projects.

Also Zbox, haha.

(title in work)

The idea of animating on a paper background is nothing new, though it's definitely still more interesting than when people submit collections of random drawings on a plain white background. The animating itself was pretty smooth, definitely above average here on NG. Your next step is to make something with a little more behind it...a storyline, characters, etc, and I'll think you'll do good.

Zyphonee responds:

Thanks man, of course, I'm workin' on a lot of stuff, keep tuned!

Very nice paper graphics

I like how the background was still and never changed the whole time, the idea seems to be death, ascending to heaven and withering flowers that die one day as well. Seems to be very sad but it was very nice.

The choice in audio was very nice and seemed to settle right in with the storyline as well.

Overall this seemed to be a melodramaticly sad thing to watch and although it semeed to make very little sense, it was still very nice.

Yeah, I'm probably gonna put more emphasis in comedy/storyline value than giving an artistic feeling to my next submission!
