Enjoyable but easy...
The first level was extremely easy... and I never really felt like they got much harder...
it's a fun game
it is a fun game but is to short also you should take out the second bike it makes it way to easy. you should also make it so we get points for doing flips, possible get points for other tricks. there is one glitch that i found if you fall into one of the "pits" the game doesnt count it as a crash however you cant proceed in the game.
Pretty old concept for a game, with some shiny new graphics and not much else. The important bit is the physics was well done - which is the meat and bones of this game.
But overall the levels were far too easy and repetitive. THe difficulty never increased and there wasn't really any skill involved in getting across the levels. And when you hit level 6 or so, there weren't any obstacles at all. You could just hold down the up button and blast right through the levels.
You need more interesting obstacles. Something a little more challenging that actually puts the physics to work. This was more of a balancing act. An easy one at that. I don't know if you've played other trials games, but some of them really test how well you know how to handle the bike. This one had too many inclined planes in the obstacles so getting over them was pretty simple.
And I would also suggest, if you're going to add huge jumps into the game, put some points up for tricks. Some of the jumps were nice and large and itching for a flip and I'm sure alot of people would do that anyways, so why not award some points for it. It would give the game another dimension.
And also, the second bike was useless. I felt it was actually clumsier than the first one. If you're going to give bike upgrades as part of the game, I suggest actually making them better each time. Maybe you could make three or four bikes that had different speeds, different maneuverability. And while you're at it you could even add a scoring system for each level where it records your time so you can get the better bikes and beat your old times in the previous levels. That adds to the play length of the game.
Good execution of an old concept. Not too bad with the graphics. The backgrounds were abit distracting though. To make this work you really need to add alot more features and difficulty settings.
excellent review.. appreciate the honesty, will take some of this into account on the next game
Way to chezzy
the idea is a bit over used the graphics are pretty cheesy and the physics could use a little tuning up
that was really fun but next time u should make more bikes with customizable colors
