mmmhhh...
I was so happy to see that gemcraft 0 was out, but then i played it.
The gameplay is awesome again, but so many modes is kinda annoying.
You play every lvl over and over to get good scores on every mode and it takes ages to do all modes on sooooo mmmmmmmmaaannnnnnnyyyyy lvls.
I like the game, but all those modes are taking me to long.
Anyways, I hope part 3 will be a better sequel then this one.
Keep it up!

The only problems i have with your game..
- Is the insane difficulty curve
- few strategies can work to beat levels (trial-and-error gameplay)
--- The fact that a simple mistake will gimp an attempt at beating a map and force a restart is bad imho, but there is hardly any way to avoid it.
- that the game is only fun much, much later on when you have enough XP to actually have some tactical flexibility with your skills. So the early games are long, boring and hard.
- Gem distribution hardly seems fair/or really random in maps.. some types seem to be rarer on purpose.. or maybe im just that unlucky.
Otherwise, the interface works VERY well, its a solid system you got at work here. SHortcuts everywhere when need them, the game is clearly explained, everything is readable and all information is available at a glance.
And of course, the graphics are pretty.
Strategy guide gives good tips, but they are mostly usefull for higher level gameplay.. not much help for early ones.

Good game, if not my type
This is obviously a very well-made TD game. I like the focus you put on story. Now if I only had some sort of skill with these games, I might really enjoy it, but as it is, I'm absolutely terrible. I always have been at TDs.

Overproduced
You know I guess I'm just hard to please but I didn't find this one nearly as fun as the first Gemcraft. Don't get me wrong, its still an incredibly well produced game. Its just that most of the new additions seem gimmicky and frustrated as opposed to interesting and necessary. Gemcraft was a relatively simple idea that worked really well. By comparison the minutia and grind in this one just kind of turned me off. Never the less the kernel of the game we all know and love is still here and if you're a fan you won't be disappointed.

I liked it...
but you only get an 8 for the annoying pop up asking me for more storage space on my comp.... dunno wtf that is about, but it aint cool to have a box pop up in the middle of a fight and totally screw your placing abilities
