wooh!

I love this one out of all the most! Although labyrinth is freakin badass I find it more complicated. First one was simple but kinda bright looking. And then there is In between, mix of easy game play and cool graphics! I love how all the sudden the gem bomb turns out to be a life saver on sudden death when there are no shrines, I used a grade 2 shock gem to whipe out 3 remaining of a wave just INCHES from my base. WOOH! Hard to find an intense tower defence game, you do it fucking right!

better than Gemcraft 1!

When i saw this game, i thought "How could it get any better?"
Even if you haven't played the first one, it's a great tower defense game - Possibly the best one on the site!

Suggestion

This one is much better than teh first.
How about remaking the first one with the features of GemCraft Labyrinth? This would be really awesome.

Very good

OK, I stumbled on this a bit late, as the game is more than two years old by now. The new one (Gemcraft Labyrinth) beats this one any time. Still, it is a very nice defence game, and a great precedessor to what is in my eyes the best tower defence game on the net. I've played a few rounds and enjoyed it, but I guess I'm more for the new one. It just offers quite a lot more, both in graphics and in gameplay. In this Gemcraft 0, you get random gems. In gemcraft 1, you can choose them and that makes a difference. Still, the random effect can be nice (and surprising), and Gemcraft 0 has more story to it than its follow-up game. A matter of taste if you ask me.
