I've fixed the bugs you described and also made the game a little easier.

First time posting - the game streams MP3s from my server and the bandwidth killed it :) noob

This was made to promote a festival in Manchester where I live, but also to have a go with the new Flash sound API. All the DSP is ActionScript so you do need a pretty fast PC/Mac and Flash Player 10.

Other than having to know your genres and subgenres maybe a tad too well, I'm really addicted to this for some reason. That reason is probably because its pretty sexy, but I'm liking it disproportionatly to its sexiness. I do, however, not wear shorts.

Only pants.

Good game, great concept.

"Great concept"

Great concept for the game, but it's got some annoying bugs.

A minor one: at one point, after missing a click, the X didn't go away, it just kept looping.

And a much bigger one: After a successful click, none of the other music played, even after starting a new game

So 9/10 for a great idea, but points of for bugs :(

Thanks for taking the time to write back. I've recreated both of the problems you mention, and when I can find what is causing them I'll update. I think the major issue you had was just my server falling over due to massive bandwidth, so a little loading screen should fix that.

I love this game. Granted unless you really know your genres your going to be off. Its great to see a fresh take on a classic game.
