Hey guys and gals! Welcome to Peasoup the demo!
This is just a small example of a flash-platformer with a plug-and-play engine that hopefully can lead to other (better) games in the future. I threw in a couple of puzzle based elements so that this game isn't a complete bore. The demo consists of five levels and it has some known issues (i.e. the slippery platforms and whatnot) but any positive feedback is appreciated... hell even negative feedback is good! I can take it! AHHH!
Controls;
Left,Right - go left or right (...rly nao)
Up - jump
Down - Speed-fall (works only in mid-air)
The road-signs (the giant orange and blue blocks) prevent you from going in a certain direction and only allow you to go in the direction they're pointing in. The bowls at the end of each level are the eventual end-game, just place "Pea-ter" in the centre and the next level will commence!
Whatever may happen, all I ask is that you have fun! Enjoy!
Easter Egg!
it's raining Easter eggs in the fourth kingdom. Hop backwards with the Pea onto the transparent platform. You become a floating Pea Master. If you keep hovering or hop like myself on the air to the West, and quickly hop to the next platform you will find some Pea graffiti inside the ground. Cool Peas! Good Game Fun Factor! Look forward to the release! This Pea sure knows how to make a good soup!

It's not bad, you do slide a bit much and the controls are a bit iffy, but still good for a demo.
Simple
I think the game is addictive and pretty good for a demo, but you slide a bit much and there is no music... Which kinda sucks. But still fun
hmm
the movement is too slick, it's hard to stop once you realize oh that's a cliff or oh i need to hit that ledge, and it's hard to tell if you jump where the back of the cliffs end or the front, but good concept :)
