Issues...

Herm. Needs work. Has a SEVERE glitch where once you clear a house, it just stays at the house. I have had this problem before with it, and it normally only effects one house. This time the glitch "spread" and effected every house I tried to play.

However, this is a very fun idea, and if you made a Zed Town 2, I would definitely play it.

pretty cool!

Very cool light effects that create a neat scene, but there's nothing to see but black rooms... oh and ZOMBIES!!! Add some creepy objects and this game would be stellar!

Pretty Good

The pros-
-Killing zombies in the dark is kind of fun, but a little scary
-Music added to the game instead of subtracting

The Cons
-Story was rather bland, you did good in a tutorial so now you are a cop?
-You can't really tell if you are moving
-The zombies would come up on me from behind when I had just cleared that room 10 seconds ago

NPGames responds:

i suck at stories. and the cop thing was just a way to show the ranks of weapons and levels you get.

Worthwhile but feels unfinished

There is a great example of a game that has many excellent elements, but is missing a couple necessary ones.

The game is fantastic for atmosphere. You have light, and it casts shadows. Long black freaky shadows that make you feel a bit lost and uncertain. The amazing strength is also the game's weakness.

The floors and walls are untextured. To so if you back into a wall or are walking down a hall, you can't really tell that you're moving until you have some other wall (that is out of shadow) to compare your position to.

An easy fix: textured floor. Something to give reference for the player. In addition, the game could use some art. The game is technically fantastic, but all the houses feel like giant steel boxes. Even if the Zombies left a corpse or some splatter; anything to tell me where I am.

A few glitches cleared up and some polish and this game would have easily been a 10.

Keep up the good work.

[Aside: The last shot/kill is not recorded by the game. A house with three zombies will complete with two shots and two kills.]

Pretty good Kinda Freaky

I enjoyed This game its pretty well brought up, the graphics are fine for this kind of game and it does have a really freaky appeal i found knowing that if you get hit once your dead which i thought was really neat, it kept me on my toes... the only bad thing i have about this game is sometimes i thought the flashlight was too small but it did keep me looking around all the time, A bad part is that sometimes i would clear the house of Zombies and it wouldn't say i did until i went back Into the game and cleared the house again which really kinda pissed me off but everything else was great

NPGames responds:

ya its a glitch, iv only been able to make it happen in one house tho.
