Ok so this film was made for the animation 09 competition. It was judged on the 26th of May 2009 but I don't get my results until I get back to college because the results were emailed to our teachers instead of us. I'll update the description when I find out :)

Story: A student wakes up late to discover that his maths homework is due in in just one minute! To make things worse, he's overslept! The film was made to test out anime style, which has always been one of my goals as an animator.

Anyway, without further delay, I present to you, Homework Dash!

Great stuff

I got a kick out of this flash with the plot of it and the end was just hilarous mistaking his homework for a grocery list,the animation was solid and the song fit the flash quite well,overall i enjoyed this flash a good deal. =)

it didnt really look like anime but it looked close to it

Well it was my first try at it, so I didnt expect to get the anime feel straight away, but I still thought I did a good imitation of it :P

It had an odd feel.

If not for reading the description, I would never had any idea what was happening.

Short but funny.
The walking and running were a bit weird but I know those are a real pain in the ass to make them look good :)

Thanks :) And yeah, the walking was really a pain to do, because I normally work with SD (super-deformed) characters, and moving to a run cycle with normal scale people was a big change

Thanks a lot, it was judged yesterday and my teacher says she hasnt heared anything from them yet, but hopefully it's just the judging thats delayed.
