Loot

Loot is a casual dungeon crawl type of game.

Your goal is to explore a (small) randomly generated dungeon, collect as much treasure as you can, and return to the exit alive.

If you escape alive, you can continue on to explore another dungeon; when your character dies, the game is over!

You can carry only six items at a time, so you'll need to decide which items you want to carry out of the dungeon with you, and which you'll leave behind.

You also earn points for each room you explore and for each monster you defeat.

When you're defeated, you'll loose a portion of the exploration and item scores for the last dungeon you visited.

To accumulate higher scores you'll need to balance the search for items, exploration of the dungeon, combat, and the ability to escape alive for as long as you can.

Instructions:
(You may need to click on the game once before it responds to your key presses correctly!)

Use the WASD or arrows keys to move.

Click on treasure chests to open them, and loot their contents (if your inventory is full, the item inside will fall to the ground).

Click on items on the ground to pick them up.

Click on items in your inventory to drop them.

Each room can have only one item on the ground at a time.

Click on a monster to attack it.

Attacking a monster will provoke a counter attack!

If you're in a room with a monster, you must defeat the monster before you can leave the room.

Click on the stairs to exit the dungeon.

You may also find a red healing potion in any chest in any dungeon (they are a bit rarer than the other items).

If you exit the dungeon with a red potion in your inventory, your health will be restored to it's maximum of 25.

If you have a health potion in your inventory when a monster kills you, you will instead guzzle the potion and be restored to 18 health points.

If you happen to have extra health potions in your inventory when you escape a dungeon, you will carry the extras with you to the next dungeon.

It was good

But can you make it so you have a bigger inventory or something I had to drop loads of stuff half way round some of em.

it wass fun!

worth my 2 min! =] il hope you can get beter on the flash so i give you a 4 and 9 stars

Not that great

I didn't like it.

Cons
It lacked a wide rage of sounds.
it had no plot or story.
the graphics were bad
there was no music.
Combat was sloppy
no ability to run
Very 1 dimensional, very few options. gets very repetitive

Pros
the concept is firm but it would be much better if you put more effort into it.

Not bad...

Pretty good representation of the dungeon crawl genre, but one thing I would like to have seen is being able to use the items you pick up, not just the potions. Being able to sacrifice an item you have to stay alive would put an interesting twist in the gameplay.

It's ok in a simple kind of way

...but you should regenerate health each time you finish and descriptions of the loot would be cool. All in all,..good.
