Press the left and right arrow keys to escape your enemy and fly to safety!

To think... my friend (Mowgomorgan) made this on his calculator. He has no other submissions than this (he doesn't have flash) so I (Wolflink289) thought he might want to make the ideas for the the game and I program them.

NOTE:
Some features in the upcoming version (NEW submission) are:

Music: HyperioxX - ParagonX9
30 FPS instead of 12 (Difficulty + 18)
Bug fixes
New themes
Now 4 MB.

Please send the bugs and glitches to Wolflink289.

Please comment and rate.

"Not really a game"

date: May 23, 2009

There's not really anything here. You push left, then it ends, then it says press space to continue, and you do, but it just takes you back to the main menu....

Author's Response:

It makes you go there then you press continue. It does that so it can reset.

"Um, wtf"

date: May 23, 2009

Ok, so ... 2 people trying to use the same keyboard at the same time, is annoying so lets assume that 98.9% of your user-base is going to play 1 player mode.

- 1p mode either DOESN'T INCREASE IN DIFFICULTY ... or scaled so incredibly poorly that it was not noticed for 10 levels.

- Regardless of if the level of difficulty increases or not, was difficult to judge at best ... mainly because it was nigh to impossible to figure out what level you where on at any given time since the counter didn't work.

- Directions to the game where also poorly written (while i must give props for them existing at all which is usually not the case). They didn't explain whether to tap the keys repeatedly ... or just hold them down. In retro spec, I doubt 2p would be any fun if it was just a contest of 2 people holding down buttons for eternity ... so in that case, you might want to change the mechanics of the user input so that it only moves so far per button press.

"A good...idea?"

date: May 23, 2009

The core problem here is...what happens when both players are holding down their respective keys? It might be an idea to make the players have to release the button and press again for it to register. (Or perhaps make a system where the player must press different keys in a sequence)

Combine this with some good graphics and you might have a good thing going.

(Oh and I could not get to level 2, there was no continue button, though I might be missing something obvious)

Good luck to you.
