"a robotic spaceship searches a desolate land, for... what?"
this is a simple animation i made after i had finished the animation for what i had planned to be my PA high school computer fair entry, but instead i entered this. i got 4th in my region, out of about 10 animations. sound by Steve Stenersen.

Short, simple, to the point, and never overstaying it's welcome and with a little surprise in store at the very end - that about sums up the charming and creative little short known only as 'search.', a short about an inorganic object searching for...something.
PS:The only similarities that this shares with Wall-E (alot of people seem to feel that it is HIGHLY similar) is the general concept in which SPOILER an inorganic object is capable of loving another inorganic object. END SPOILER The format, presentation, and overall look and feel of search. is entirely different.

the art style was sorta creepy looking so it was exactly what I was expecting, but you had me won over by the end.

how bout, no? I've never even seen the movie wall-e, people have told me it reminded them of wall-e, but up till you none of them have been an ignorant ass hole.
