Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

I like your art style, and the Coraline soundtrack has some amazing tracks on it, it's one of my favorite movies. Nice job

Your flash was well animated (in a type of style I personally like, by the way), it had nice music that was kind of ambient, and it had a good storyline for a silent flash. The only things I can think of are that it was silent, and it appeared, for the most part ,motionless (as in not fluidic in motion).

Your characters were well designed and the overall tone of the piece is fantastic. It does have a few flaws that detract from the piece a bit though. The music fits the material very well and the flash is both original and interesting. It's an utterly charming piece.

The first and biggest problem with this is your frame rate on your FBF segments. Remember that the minimum frame rate for the eye to detect movement is 12 FPS. I realize that you did this in a limited amount of time, so it's understandable, but remember that your grading timeline doesn't apply to Newgrounds submissions. You can go back and add more, putting in a few extra frames. This is particularly bothersome when the characters are walking and the like. You need to add in a few more frames there, as well as when the tear is in the eye and most other places that you do FBF.

Secondly is that we can see the boundaries of the characters occasionally. While I'm sure you're aware of this, I'd still recommend that you do something to cover it up. Putting some background item to cover up the seams makes things look far more professional and is less distracting. Seeing the boundaries of your symbols takes the viewer out of the piece.

I am always critical though. Seriously, you should be proud. This is a charming, original and entertaining composition. Well done!

I think some of the artwork should have been improved upon, for instance make the loathing tree more macaob; like have it full of dead branches and more detail put into it as opposed to making it look like a giant broccoli.

Other than that it was very solid and I enjoyed it much :)
