Crash-landed on a desolate, alien planet, what should've been a routine work-for-hire job for Powell has become a deadly mission to save the merchant vessel Morningstar and her crew.

As of Feb. 17, 2015 Morningstar became a full fledged PC game. Currently available on Steam, this version features remade graphics in 1080p, new HD cutscenes, remastered soundtrack, voice acting, new locations, new puzzles, an extended story, achievements and steam trading cards.

When I first played this, it was the most sophisticated and best-produced flash game I'd ever seen. Even now I'd suggest this is one of the best games here, especially in the Adventure section. Incredible quality. Sadly the intro movie doesn't work anymore for me, and apparently other reviewers - is this due to changes in Flash player? The cut-scenes were very professional and a great start to the game. My only gripe was that one or two of the "combine the items" solutions were not exactly intuitive (this is putting it mildly, though that was quite a common thing in a certain era of adventure gaming and perhaps we are expected to use our imagination... or more likely, to grind through trying to combine anything and everything when stuck until something works). But the puzzle elements were well thought through and solvable by reason rather than blind guesswork. Also, the game is satisfyingly big! Lots of fun to explore.

I really liked playing this game but neither of the movie sequences worked for me :( I wanna know how it ended!

Holy cow! This is one heck of a point-and-click adventure game.
I do think that "Morningstar" is one of the best flash adventure games out there.

The story and science-fictional settings are really impressive with well-drawn sceneries, with additional content of mystery do add more absorbing experience to the player, as he/she continues exploring the desert planet in order to escape from there.
Moreover, the "radio" option in the game helped me to proceed the game, as the wounded captain offered various solutions to what do I need to do!

The only complaining factor that I have on this game is that the opening/ending animation scenes and "audio" are only avaliable if you play this masterpiece on the bubblebox game site.

Other than that, a truly compelling sci-fi adventure game.
