Alright, I'm actually somewhat excited uploading this on Newgrounds.
It's more or less my first serious release.

Codename Concrete is my first Point&Click-like Puzzlegame using a self written engine. Being only one level, it's supposed to be more of a dummy for feedback on the style aswell as an engine tester. Still I tried to involve as much story as possible, leaving space for possible episodes. Depending on your feedback, the story will go on and engine enhancements will be made (such as an inventary system).

Look at objects by hovering over them, interact by clicking.

Enjoy!

Demo..

It's a really nice try, it has really smooth gameplay.
The puzzles where hard enough to make me think, the sound is good.
I want to play the full game!!
I like it.

Thank you for not complaining about the difficulty :)
It's actually less of a demo, since there is no such thing as a full version out there. It was only meant to be a pilot project, and concerning the feedback I got up to now, I guess I will make some enhancements about the engine and actually start to get the story rolling, lots of levels and mysteries included.

Ok, it's a start

Not a great start, though. Graphics could do, i'd say. Like, the edges are a little too edgy.

klausklapper responds:

Well, get me a good graphics artist and your need will be satisfied. As for me myself, I'm not that great of an artist, I guess.

after you get the steel bar, click the bar's location at the roof then it was there again... But nice game tho

klausklapper responds:

Thanks for reporting the glitch. It'll be fixed soon.

wow that was short...

I opened this and started playing like I would a normal adventure game. Only took a few clicks and it said to be continued. Good start, but it needs to be longer. Also there's a glitch. I went back to see if I missed something and you're able to click on the top light part and put the grating piece back after you hit it down. You can do this over and over. Seems like a glitch in the gameplay.

Also clicking on the door after I had the metal piece I thought that was a key. I didn't realize immediately I had to jimmy the door open. I randomly got that by clicking around the door handle. :\

klausklapper responds:

Guys, I know it's hard to figure out. But if you're seriosly stuck, read the Walkthrough. Also, this being only one level, I didn't want it to be exactly easy to beat. It was meant to be a pilot project. But concerning the feedback I got by now, I guess there will be more with engine enhancements.

wow

this was lit difficult .. and I liked the people must know about it!

klausklapper responds:

It's difficult, I know. But it's only one level, keep that in mind. Didn't want you to be done in 2 minutes.
