A mad scientist invents a chicken cannon and goes on a rampage.
The Body Count was made as part of an assignment for my animation course at uni. The assignment was to create and pitch an animated TV show.

Move over Ron Burgundy, Todd McSween is here :D
I found this clip to be quite a hilarious addition to Newgrounds. Unlike so many other pieces that recycle the same jokes over and over again, you created something that took great pains in making sure it wasn't just "same-old, same-old".
Only wish you'd gotten more than Daily Third. This piece is far more deserving.
Good, (just like all your other stuff)
However I did notice one small inconsistency, Todd did say that five hens were injured but Fitzgerald fired off ten shots.
ha ha yes that is true, "five cornish chickens" just had a ring to it but really it should be "23 cornish chickens" or some other high number that implies he fires the cannon a lot.
It's been a while since I saw something this good
When I give 10s to submissions, they're usually either be enjoyable spam or a submission that actually deserves it. This is by far the latter. Whenever someone is able to actually make something that uses creative humor with well planned timing and classic delivery, it usually ends up being an all-time favorite of mine. Especially when mixed with squeaky clean animation, hilarious visual gags, and well thought out camera angles, it makes the overall product flow so much more smoothly. Not to mention you're voice was just perfect for the personality for the snazzy, full of himself anchorman.
You're probably one of the few artists on NG who makes sure that their animation can leave an impression on the viewer (well, the type of viewer that doesn't only care about video game parodies, anyway) without the use of common jokes you find on the site. And if you do end up using them, you mix it up in a way one hasn't seen it before. That, along with the fact that you manage to make your animation fluid and detailed at the same time only adds to your amazing talent. All I can say is that if this goes ignored, it would be a huge, HUGE shame.
thanks a lot for the kind words and taking the time to write!
You need new voice-actors. Or they need voice-acting lessons, because all your characters are sounding the same, and never change their voices. I mean, how many characters doesn't share this news-anchors voice? Goose-man and that blonde dude from your early stuff are some. Oh yeah, and Angry Dog.
However, your animation just gets better, as well as your script writing.
first of all todd's a recurring character from as far back as 2006 so he's got to keep the same voice. secondly the other times i voice the main characters are different stories that don't overlap so there's no reason why they should be different. but thanks for watching more than one over time anyway
That haves gre4t Hum0R
