Mike and I made this game as an experiment to see if we could express this little idea solely through gameplay. We ask that you be patient while playing through it and try your best to finish it. Also, if you have an interpretation and so on, please share in a review.

Thanks for playing and keeping an open mind!

Hipster: The game

I think it might be a sarcastic take on "Normality" and "Individuality". You try to make others be like you, but then you realize that you don't want everyone to be like you, so you attempt to change them back. This, however, is impossible, as the main character, you, is never completely black or white. He has a core, a soul, a personality. Social interaction, described at it's most ugly moment.

Wow, powerful metaphor

The games ok, but I think it's a powerful metaphor for how going to extremes can cause chaos, and sometimes the best way is to meet in the center, like black and white make a humble shade of gray.

Deep

I really can't say much that hasn't already been said, but I noticed that once you turned gray you really couldn't see yourself in the crowd easily anymore.

Either way, very deep. 5/5
