So I've got this friend who has a friend who knows a guy who works for Nintendo. And he gave me this super secret special footage of the original ending to Pokemon: the First Movie.

Edit: Thanks so much for the front page! I jumped around my room in excitement when I saw it :D

fighting sucks ass

Hahaha amazing. This video brought up some childhood memories. Lol I was 7 years old when this movie came out, I watched it in theaters and cried when ash died, then somehow revived by pokemon tears :P haha.

The only problem is that it's short. Theres nothing wrong with short videos, but this could have been better if you added some more jokes.

Anyway, i liked it, specially about Misty, Brock, and Ash agreeing that fighing is wrong.

THAT WAS TOO FUNNY. That's how the ending should had been, not just ash turning in to stone bullshit. How can energy attacks turn someone into stone anyway??? THAT WAS JUST EXCELLENT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I want to see more parodies based on these.

boom headshot!

I got a good laugh out of that!

I couldn't really remember the movie 'till it showed Mew and Mewtwo fighting though, but the ending was pretty epic.

Let's see their "tears of unfathomable sadness" (Nostalgia Critic reference) bring him back now!

This gave me a good laugh. Nice job man!

Ockeroid responds:

What's that, Simba? Your dad's still dead? Well, you must not be crying hard enough!
Nostalgia Critic FTW

lol. wow.

now see, this is what really should've happened in the movie. but no, instead they went with the lame Ash-turns-a-funny-ashy-color-and-gets -revived-by-everyone's-TEARS-even-aft er-getting-hit-with-PURE-ENERGY-ATTAC KS-by-the-world's-STRONGEST-POKEMON ending.

anyway, i really liked your flash. you accurately rendered all of the characters in both appearance and, er, character, to add a satisfyingly satirical element to the flash. though, i feel that you could've made it a tiny bit longer, allowing room for you to get a little more creative with the plot and characters. i mean, the movie's been out for nearly a decade. you're not the only one, and certainly not the first, to have come up with this idea. but i do commend you for being amongst the tiny handful that has actually done something to bring this idea to life.

all right, thanks for bringing us this fine flash and i hope you find my thoughts insightful and helpful.

oh, and you just gotta love just how everyone stops fighting when Ash interferes, despite the fact that Ash does abuse his pokemon by making them fight all the time and that Mewtwo didn't really have a problem clearing out a research facility full of innocent and defenseless scientists, assistants, and employees at the start of the movie.

Ockeroid responds:

The whole movie is basically just build up to Ash getting killed, so too much content other than that could easily take away from the joke at the end.
Thanks for the review :)
