Made it boring myself:P
Grinded on the lvl that was 100% of those crab mutant-looking zombies...
So i had all the perks and weapons by day 31...And after that i just had to point in the direction where i wanted everything to die without any risk of dying myself, so it got kinda boring.
But the game itself was badass, 10 10 10!
I had a small glitch with the turret gun.. I used it a couple times, and then could never use it again. (Though I never found it that useful.)
I played till level 40 and just started to fall into boredom, so considering that took... I don't even know how much time, it really kept my attention for quite some time. It was fun to level up the guns, and also to see what kind of "boss" creatures would appear.
I would suggest maybe making an option to have the blood disappear (no option to get rid of it completely, that would ruin the style of the game!)
The surviving zombies thing gets old quick, the shop has been improved, killing is easy, main character needs a voice!
Very good work here.
But the survivor thing was a pain in the ass because they dont follow very good or for a good distance, meh. Also the bodies all over that floor would be a lot more convenient if you were to clean the floor after each day or X many days, prevents lag and confusion. other than that it was nearly perfect, 9/10 5/5.
So... much... blood....
In a good way though, I literally painted the whole parking lot red. I've played your first one too, and it was also addictive. I liked that you started to create a story line here, but I'm sad you didn't add more (to the story). In terms of gameplay, your game is king. The multitude of weapons and upgrades and perks really prevents boredom for a good long while. But as I was hinting at earlier, some more immersion into the story work would have made this game perfect. Keep up the amazing work!
Oh and to anyone searching for the best weapon but not feeling like dishing out tons of money searching for it, go shotgun. Yes, normal shotgun. Why you say? Well after you make enough money and fully upgrade it with the gauss bullet perk on the last page of perks, you will be invincible. Well, you'll actually be invincible nearly the whole game anyway but at least this gun will really make you feel like a god. I "finished" day 40 with 3200 kills before I finally broke away. ;P
