WARNING: Spewer is very physics heavy and may run slow at times on your computers. If the game is running slow simply pause the game (Esc or P) and set the detail to low and/or turn off the background rendering. If your playing on a low end PC please download the standalone version, there is a link to it on the title screen.

EDIT: Arrow Keys have been added as alt movment keys for the left handed and or people with "crazy" keyboards.

You're born into this world a guinea pig before god. Unsure of his motives you progress through life solving his puzzles searching for meaning in the rudimentary problems of everyday life.

To make sense of life we must evolve past our previous forms, purge from our bodies the rules set in place by our previous selves in order to see the future with new eyes....

In other words Spewer is a game about puking.

Spewer is a puzzle platformer that uses liquid physics though regurgitation as its core mechanic. Taking the role of a mysterious test subject, code named Spewer, you must vomit your way through over 60 levels of stomach turning puzzles, learning new abilities, changing forms and piecing together your purpose in life.

Controls are in game.

nearly perfect and fairly addicting.

this is a really great game except for two tiny bugs which are both fairly managable yet entirely annoying the semi rare times they'll be noticable.

first and foremost, the controls seem very "loose" even for a game i'm guessing you meant them to be slightly so, this is the managable part of that one, the unmanagable part of that one is that you are pulled ever so slightly towards puke you pick back up if there's a large amount and often, into the trap you're trying to save your highscore from, figuratively.

i say the controls seem very loose, because, it's extremely hard to predict how you're modifiers like "puke" will affect your jump's trajectory to a point you can do it without thinking about it.
that's the first bug, sort of, it's compounded by something that could and should be improved, the combination of mouse and keyboard, at least using both for purely nothing but movement makes sense in this context, the bug and problem is it does not make sense with a mouse and keyboard, even the games most famous for using both (a few very highly noticable ones that have never had the same cast and a recently new developer for it's PC port comes to mind) use both, but for multiple purposes, puke does not seem to ever be any more than a movement enhancer and not a "smart" ala fire and "forget" enhancer either, there's really nothing to be done about it, but this game is just screaming for you to play it with a joypad, that's all.

other than that, extremely nice game, refreshing mechanics and near flawless execution, 9 of 10 and 4 of 5 well deserved.
