A direct sequel to Slayer I, you have been given a chance to go back in time and complete your assassination instead of being slaughtered. Your target, the demon, Deathwing. Destroy him in this unique First-Person Sword Fighter and complete your mission.

Read the tutorial; the combat system is very unique and you need to understand it lest you flail around like a psycho.

Enjoy.

"Not bad."

Definitely not a bad little game, but it could still do with a bit more to it. Some sort of background story would be nice. The ending movie could also have been much more rewarding as what you had was very bland. The motion controls were a very nice feature, which worked very well. I haven't seen this done in flash game before, so you seem to have offered something new with these.

The various difficulty settings and achievements to unlock gave you reason to replay the game, but I only found myself playing through it three times as the various difficulties didn't really offer anything entirely new. Fortunately you included the option to speed up the end credits as it would have been annoying sitting through them in full every time you completed the game.

The unlockables menu couldn't be closed on the menu screen and even opening up the achievements menu didn't rectify this problem. This meant that the unlockables menu overlapped the achievements menu, which didn't look at all good.

The sword movement could do with some improvement. It didn't match the movement I made with my touchpad at all, when really it should have. Not only was the movement completely wrong (a thrust forward when I was slashing sideways), but the attacks were very rare given how rapidly I was moving my finger.

I wasn't overly fond of the ending sequence where you had to press a few buttons on your keyboard. It wasn't particularly exciting and seemed to be far too easy, although perhaps this was much harder on the higher difficulty settings. You worded it like the character you controlled was the one on the brink of death which seemed strange considering you'd just emptied the enemy's health bar and were nowhere near dead yourself. Perhaps a different font could be used for the keys, as I couldn't be 100% that the B was indeed a B. The snow during this sequence needs fixing as it was only a small square which filled the initial window. As the camera moved around you could see the square shape to it and everything outside the square was completely snow-free. Needless to say, this looked very unusual.

"i liked it..."

I can see a lot of problems, but it was fun while it lasted. It really bothers me how undeniably ashhole-like some of these reviewers are. Your supposed to say what to improve upon, not say they suck and why. Having said that, it would be nice if the camra was a bit slower without having to press space (there was probobly somthing for that that i missed) It was to short so you should take more time and make the game longer. The graphics were great except for the glowsticks... And i managed to beat it on normal so way to go on that.

"Fairly lame."

date: May 4, 2009

Oh I can't just leave it at that you want to know why?

Well much like the flaw of the PSP with its one thumb stick that controls both movement and camera you have taken it one step further and more worse. You have one mode of controlling not only camera, movement, but attack as well. It was impossible to appreciate anything about the art or whatnot of it because I was constantly thrown into seizure-inducing camera jerks desperately trying to beat the boss.

The game itself beyond the horrible mechanics was easy on normal. I only died once. However, the crappy execution doesn't make me want to play it twice. Your achievements are basic and your quick-time event at the end was lame. It took on a qwerty feel when I was expecting a wsda and I died on that but I didn't count it.

It's shortness was kind of like a huge middle finger. Okay so you beat this frustrating dude mastering the crap mechanics and we leave you with what amounts to a one-minute game with a lame looking knight. Plus it's a total freaking cliffhanger.

Something good, something good... oh, your graphics were nice I suppose though it did look like the guy was beating you up with raver glow sticks or a lame as knockoff of a lightsaber.
