Yes, its been a while, stuff has been happening around here, work has been busy, but now, things are back to normal, and 8-Bit Theater in Flash is BACK to Newgrounds! Beginning with Episode 5, I will work my way through revisions of 6-10, and then make a compilation with a special bonus at the end. Thank you all for your patience and enjoy the movie!

Yes, I do have Brian Clevinger's permission to make these. Check out his original comic at

Beautiful, Well Done

While I'm not of the opinion that every piece of art must have a "message" or argument, I can appreciate when one does. Disaster Labs somehow manages to tie this particular one to an effective humor so well that the two are almost inseperable, a method that I must label art. If you're comparing this to the nuklearpower strip, you don't get the message and you need to do a frame-by-frame analysis to catch the hidden messages that state the creators' true intent (especially the scenes with instant message pop ups).
When black mage is talking about white mage (pardon, I've forgotten the actors' names), there's a scene where she appears in a macromedia flash screen- look at the frames to the left, and you'll begin to get an idea of how much work went into the creation of this film. I'm elated that it was such a large project, and so very, very effective. Brilliant. Beautiful.
