(YOU NEED VOLUME FOR THIS ONE)
Here is a 3MB product of four stressful nights,

so the animation isn't as vast as the Serpent's Grave Trailer (expect a lot of cheap methods for this one). During summer, I'll definitely have my hands open for larger projects!
Sorry I haven't been active online. Like I've said a few times, I've been busy with school.

This is my final project for my High School art class, which is a short animated film loosely inspired by Swan Lake. There is no complex and sophisticated story for this one, but it does have a deeper meaning. I believe that humans can achieve more abstract emotions such as love, passion and integrity. Animals in the other hand can feel happiness, rage, and fear. Ballet was one of my chosen topics to cover as an art of movement, since it's the next closest thing I could relate to the Swan Lake play, and through Ballet I wanted to show how far animals can become human.

(The animals are based off Indonesian creatures such as the Komodo Dragon)

So in other words,
This is an exaggerated take on nature. While a predator usually just hunts for food, there is a conspiring beauty within it that makes us move. Only music accompanies this movie.

The art exhibition held for a week went pretty well. The video (which was exported as an AVI and burned as a DVD video) looked decent on the projector. There are some other kick ass illustrations, sculptures, videos, etc. It's been a fun run guys!

The music is from X-Ray Dog - Tracks are called: "Breathing Space" and "The Vision" (Although the pitch has been slightly altered to affect the film's mood

"Excellent and Meaningful"

A unique concept in the hands of a great animator should yield an animation this good. The music, the color scheme and the animation fit perfectly together, and make for a mesmerizing movie. The mix of elegance and death has probably been done before, but scarcely has it come together this way or this well. The only thing I could possibly suggest would be to experiment in making movies on different subjects. Looking forward to seeing more from you. (5/5, 10/10)

"This deserves some sort of award."

This is just an example of how a dramatic art flash should be done. There is nothing worthwhile to describe this, so I'll be brief: The animation, while not your best, is still better than much of the stuff here. The music is perfect and shows that selection is key when doing a soundtrack for something like this. The last thing I want to hear in a cartoon like this is Counterfeit God by Black Label Society (It may be a great song, but it doesn't belong in a cartoon unless it is a music video).

What I do like:
-Near great animation
-Excellent music
-Original Concept (I have no problem with parodies & tributes, but a good one of those is hard to come by these days)

What I didn't like:
-Lag in the beginning

Overall: I think that a big chunk of the animators on this site could learn something from you, Toniko. Here's a ten, and here's hoping that we see more stuff from you.
