I want to thank EVERY SINGLE PERSON who emailed me supporting Bob from the day he was released unto the world early 2005, right up until the release of this remake; also not forgetting those who've played, commented and voted for it here on NG. You're the reason this game exists, so give yourselves a pat on the back!

I hope you all enjoy playing the game as much as I enjoyed (re)making it, and be sure to comment and let me know what you think! I do try to reply to everyone who posts a coherent comment.

Also, if you liked the game and think it's worth a buck or two, please go ahead and click on the 'Donate' link in the title menu, or the advertisement in the preloader, and help feed a starving indie game designer :D

Just ooone thing..

I know you said that Horde Mode was unfinished but just wanted to report something so you could maybe fix it.So I went to "Come at me" mode and then played Horde Mode as Terrence and when I spawned I went straight through the ground

Nice game!

usually in this kind of games you just have to run and press 1 button to attack. Nice that "somebody" did add parry and block ^^ Good that ppl cant complete every game just by running and spamming: A or space :P (sry my crappy english ^^) Anyways great game! 4/5 10/10

awesome remake!

I've played the original version and said it was a good game but too hard. this game thankfully tone down the difficulty by including a health bar along with 3 lives, and you can now play on two difficulty levels. there's an actual sound track for the game now, like the Barbarian Bob theme song and the many songs you'll hear across the campaign. this version also has Newgrounds Medals but it only has about 8, and none of them are for completing the on the hard difficulty.

the gameplay is fundamentally the same. you are Barbarian Bob, of course, and you are hacking and slashing against multiple enemies that are trying to stop you from reaching their kingdom where you fight off against their ruler. the gameplay pretty much involves you killing enemies one by one although you could possibly be facing off against 2 at certain times. I personally find the game play to be much better because I can actually progress onwards unlike with the original. I've seen some newer locations as well as well as some secret items that weren't available in the first version, unless I'm somehow mistaken.

graphic ways the game still looks the same as it did back with the original which was posted back in 2005. so the game is a bit dated and some graphical improvements could of been nice. animation is also the same. now I'm not saying that the game looks bad or animates poorly, I'm just saying some improvements here and there would have kept the game more up to date with flash games out there now.
