You're the reason this game exists, so give yourselves a pat on the back!

I hope you all enjoy playing the game as much as I enjoyed (re)making it, and be sure to comment and let me know what you think! I do try to reply to everyone who posts a coherent comment.

Also, if you liked the game and think it's worth a buck or two, please go ahead and click on the 'Donate' link in the title menu, or the advertisement in the preloader, and help feed a starving indie game designer :D

Barbarian Bob

Barbian Bob is a really great game, and despite a few bugs the only real problem I have with the game is the fact that some of the medals seem to be bugged.

I've beaten well over fifty enemies, beaten the game numerous times and had over $20,000 in loot by far. None of this seems to matter as I haven't gotten a few of the medals I earned.

Other than that, it's a great game. You should try and fix the medals, though.

Directly after the tutorial...

Is there supposed to be a bright red opaque overlay with some spotlights on it? With a few enemies behind there where you can't see them?

Game breaking bugs are game breaking.

Bob rules all!!

Never played the original Barbarian Bob, but I like this version alot. I heard the original had a lot of technical problems that made it more.... challenging. While this version still has several bugs in it they weren't enough to detract from the overall enjoyable experience I had with it.

The graphics/art weren't the most complex I've seen, but they did an adequate job, and had the affect of making the characters more endearing. More facial expressions could help to flesh out a very 2 dimensional game into something more, though.

The controls, while basic, were easy to use. Collision detection, on the other hand, needed to be tighten up a bit - you could be standing some distance from your opponent and still kill him without touching them with your sword.

The music was great. I like it and I thought it fit the game very well; and it really stood out among many of the flash games I have played on NG - in a very good way.

Keep up the good work, Skribble-Style and co.
