Hmm...

Cool game.

Bit of lag when you set up too many turrets though.

But it still kept me entertained.

This is okay.

But why are you using the actionscript of two other games? Same units, same layout, same everything.. If I took a screenshot of this, and the other game, it would look exactly the same.
Why didn't you modify the code? Why didn't you add your own units, different specifications, another background? Different costs, less/more difficulty?
Don't just rip actionscript like that, it hurts the original authors.

First project?

Didn't seem like it. This was a really good first effort. I mean, obviously, the game could use a lot of upgrades, like way more space and obstacles and more options, but I wouldn't expect as much as this from a begginner

Very decent

You may be a new programmer, but you definitely have a handle on how to make a game fun. Despite having minimalist graphics and no sound, the system works very well and the game itself has longevity. My only gripe is the confusing graphic choice for the health bar, but the numerical value helps clear it up.
