EDIT 4/20: 8th on top entries...not bad for first game. thanks guys!! and front page...holy shit tom.
A BLACKSTARR513 PRODUCTION
Finally here is the FINAL VERSION of the Enrichment Center (our first game). We added several of mechanics into the game. Remember: this was just us testing the waters of flash. Something entertaining, yet simple. for now at least.
Same story as the Beta:
This is a fan based game off of Valve's Portal. This is another part of Aperture Science. This takes place before the portal gun was completed, so this game is like Portal .5.
You're an Aperture Science employee starting to think that you will never going home again. So you start to escape from the Enrichment Center.
and remember, there's 2 different endings!
Hope you Enjoy!
Additional Note:
WE KNOW THAT IT'S SHORT. We had 1 good day of planning out the puzzles, and then no more ideas came...so we just went with it. Our apologies. If enough of you guys want a sequel, once we have ideas for at least 19 puzzles, we'll work on it. Thank you

Heh heh, OoT reference.
A little short, but writer's block can do that, I suppose.
Quite a fun game, but was a little too simple.
Brilliant for a first game, anyway. Thanks for giving me something to do for the past five minutes, ten if you count this review. So long for now! Ciao!
yeah, a huge writer's block kinda made us to halt production on this. our apologies
and yes, it's just a little thing to pass some time.
thanks for the review

Not really a puzzle game.
The exciting thing about puzzle/adventure games is trying to see if you can figure out what to do, and feeling good about it when your train of thought proved correct. These challenges in the game need to vary in both difficulty and medium, so as to cater equally to all types of thinkers.
Your game is just a series of identical doors, each leading to instant death or an eternal purgatory of random clicking and false hope. Every puzzle is exactly the same, the only difference between them all are the answers and the clues, the latter of which range from the painfully obvious (3 2 1) to the frustratingly obtuse (what the hell am I supposed to do HERE?).
The ideal experience should put you in the mindset that you're being manipulated by someone much smarter and more organized than yourself, not that you're playing a game thrown together as quickly as possible, using obscure clues and apparently randomly-generated sequences of fatal choices rather than their own cleverness to stump the player. That's false difficulty.

Good but way too short.
Seriously, you need to make it longer. It was a piece of lie :3
we all agree, it was too short. we had a jolt of ideas, but then it just ran dry. our apologies

I'm not sure how I feel
I like it and I don't ya you can spend time to figure out the puzzles to get through faster or just click like a made man in by trial and error in various orders, regardless it seems like you have more then enough time for both methods. So I would suggest maybe shortening the time, force poeple to think and think quickly...although from previous reviews it seems some are not able to think at all...
My other suggestion is I found the True exit but it took some time to find the key, so I dont ruin it perhaps put it where it doesn't blend in easily and all that cause I blew past it several times then took the time to scan (and tab) to make sure what I thought was the key was infact the key.
Production wise good, some background music could have been nice but I liked the odd silence as well at times b etween the computer talking. So 9/10 just mainly for the first issue I found that either method of puzzle solving was pretty much a win method cause I got out with at least a minute and a half to spare just clicking like crazy. But thats minor . GJ can't wait for a sequel.
hmmm. I might shorten the time after all.
also, we thought that if the real exit key is clearly visible, it would've made the "final puzzle" easier. so we went with a guy just dropping it accidentally, but i do see what you're saying.
and there is bg music...it's just kinda soft most of the time.
and thank you for the review
