I actually started this animation long ago. Before Doodle Battle(September, 2008). I started it to get back into stick figure animating. It went unfinished for awhile until a few weeks ago when I picked it up again. Then dropped it. I then realized I didn't have too much further to go and decided to finish it. So I did.

Frame by frame. If you don't like stick figures then. Uh. Well, mine have faces, so maybe you'll forget they are even stick figures :D

Submit to the sticks and music video collections, eh eh?

Oh and I made a song based on a review I got for this movie.

Pretty smooth, and very expressive.

I really enjoyed this flash. The animation was spot on, and it looked like it had a style to it that was all your own. Especially impressive was the lip-syncing; pretty much spot on, with only a few parts looking a bit off. I also appreciated how you made it short and focused, and didn't animate the whole song, using repeat frames as filler, and just drawing it out.

All in all, an excellent animation, and very impressive in its simplicity.

Not Much Going On

Well, speaking as an artist, I understand how hard detailed shading can be, even in grayscale. That said, would it have killed you to propperly fill in the dark areas?

Other than that, not too terribly bad, though a bit jerky in places. I would say you could have stood to use a bit more copy over between frames. I know it's a pain, but it really is the difference between bad and good in cases like this.

A few points off for not finishing out the song. Reusing frames to extend the length more would have been a major plus here. Given the simplicity of the figures, you could have finished out.

Really, I'd just like to see you put a bit more time into your next one. Don't take it hard though, I'm pretty critical of everybody.

A good flash to one of my favorite songs.

You can never go wrong with Sir Mix-A-Lot. The thing that I found entertaining about your music video is how excellent the lip sync was, I can't imagine how much time you ust have put into that. I like your animation style, it is so simple but highly amusing. The stickman's dance moves were very funny, and I laughed when he punted the cat. I'll b sure to recommend it to the music videos and sticks collections. Keep up the great work!
