The game uses a classic mode7 3D effect to bring the early console action feel to the web. The playing experience is pretty intense with glass shattering explosions and in your face bullet holes.
The story line takes you into the mind of a soldier stuck in the Renegade war (for the full story play Renegade Commanders). Your fellow soldiers suddenly turn Renegade (almost too suddenly to be normal) and you must fight your way to destroy every last one of them.
I had a lot of fun developing the game. Have fun playing!
I enjoyed this game. There was one major flaw to it. The resolution wasn't good at all! I really do appreciate how the gameplay is so straightforward, though. It's the kind of game you can really get lost in. I do like most of the graphics.
For the most part, the game works. It kind of reminds me of Twisted Metal. Dang, has it been a long time since I've played that. The sounds are really good. The ways of attacking cars is really creative too.

I've gotten the controls issue from a lot of people. In all the games I've played there is literally no drift. I tried to make it more realistic (or perhaps more fun) by adding a drift. Perhaps it was too much to get a hang of right away.

Words cannot describe how I feel towards this game. It's graphics are amazing (I love that mode7 feel, I feel like I'm playing an old 16 bit racing game :D), and the gameplay is entertaining too. You even through a story (I don't even know how you managed) ni there that was actually kind of interesting.
The whole concept of this game is near perfect. I mean, everything in this game was cleaned and polished to look astounding to people playing it. This is also the first time I've seen a mode7 game on NG. The fact that you did all this in Adobe Flash kinda scares me. The gameplay is also very close to amazing and wowing NG users.
However, I don't actually get the feeling I'm driving a car. The whole map feels like it's rotating around the vehicle rather than the vehicle turning on the map (This cannot really be helped, though). The game itself was also rather challenging to play, mainly because it required a bit of skill to get the hang of playing it.
Besides those issues, though, this game is very entertaining, and people will keep coming back to play it. I can't get over the fact that you made all this in Adobe Flash... You must be a god, that's it...

This game is done really well. The only thing I would change is that the barrels blow up easier and on the mini-map it shows which way you are facing rather than just a dot
Thanks! I never thought about the direction on the mini-map. That would probably be helpful for finding the specific locations needed on certain levels. If it's an easy add on (which I think it is) I'll make that change.
