I made this for an HP Lovecraft class as my final. My teacher has a strange sense of humor so I'm guessing I'll get a decent grade.
UPDATE: I got an A on this flash!
I decided to stay up working on this through 4:30 in the morning. I realized it was a little short, so in a sleep deprived, caffeine fueled stupor, I created an extended ending.
Lots of HP Lovecraft references if you keep your eyes peeled. The three of you who searched for "Cthulhu" and found this may or may not be entertained.
Anyway, hope you guys like this. My good computer is still dead, so I made this with Flash 8 on a computer optimized for Windows 2000. Yes it's that old.
UPDATE: Good computer is back!
My friend TheL1st made the sexier backgrounds, and Xander1062 made the squiddly Cthulhu noises.
Hope you guys like it, I'll probably find it less funny in the morning.
Check out my other cartoons for something good.
EDIT: Fixed some issues, so now you can see what Dagon is saying the second time. Flash is wicked glitchy so I did the best I could.

Lovecraft is my favorite writer, hands down
which makes this flash all the more enjoyable

Does ANYONE know how to spell Cthulhu correctly?
Why is it that Metallica- let me say this again- METALLICA, of all bands, had to spell Cthulhu wrong?
(If you'll notice in the credits, Call of Khulu)
Dragova AND G4's Top 10 Most Horrifying Monsters Special (at number 5): Cthulu.
Hell, I don't even know if I'M spelling it correctly, but this is how Wikipedia spells it, so I'll just be the potential n00b and let it rest with you.
By the way, that G4 thing was no joke. 'Cthulu' only placed fifth.
Ktulu is an alternate spelling of it. Lovecraft himself referred to multiple spellings of Cthulhu in his works, especially once the Cthulhu Mythos spread to other horror writers of the time. G4 calling Cthulhu number 5 is pretty lame though. It's all a popularity contest, I'm sure. Freddy Kruegger probably one number 1 or something.

wow
that was fasinating and goodish animation for someone on newgrounds i just started reading this book yesterday because over the last year i had a strange thing for cthulu and i was gonna get the book at the library but my dad didnt let me cuz HE didnt like the book but he said i could get it on that kindle electic book thing so im reading it and i think its great i didnt even get to the cthulu part yet just where theyre talking about dreams
but anyways u made a great flash 5/5
